CHRISTUS Health launches wayfinding navigation feature in Tyler

3/25/2026

CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital is making it easier than ever for patients and visitors to navigate its campus with the launch of a new wayfinding feature inside the MyCHRISTUS mobile app.

Designed with convenience in mind, the new tool provides step-by-step directions throughout the main hospital campus, helping patients move confidently from entrances and parking areas to clinics, imaging departments, waiting rooms and more.

This feature also allows users to save their parking location, eliminating the stress of trying to remember where they parked after an appointment or visit.

“We understand that visiting a hospital can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when you’re focused on your health or a loved one’s care,” said Samantha Mullens, vice president of hospital operations. “This new technology is another way we are improving the patient experience by making navigation simple, intuitive and stress-free.”

Once inside the MyCHRISTUS app, users can select their destination and receive clear, simple directions from their current location, whether they enter through the main entrance or walk in from a parking lot.

The system updates in real time, guiding users every step of the way.

The new feature is part of CHRISTUS Health’s ongoing commitment to accessibility, innovation, and patient-centered care. By integrating reliable wayfinding directly into the app, patients can manage appointments, access health records and now navigate the campus, all in one convenient place.

The MyCHRISTUS app is available for download on both Apple and Android devices.
