CHRISTUS Health is pleased to announce that it has begun operations at Titus Regional Medical Center, marking a new chapter for families, patients, providers and the broader Mount Pleasant community. Effective May 1, the hospital will operate as CHRISTUS Health - Mount Pleasant Hospital.
This milestone reflects a shared commitment to ensuring continued access to high-quality, compassionate health care close to home.
“As we move forward together, our focus is on continuity, stability and growth,” said Chris Glenney, senior vice president and chief operating officer of U.S. ministries for CHRISTUS Health. “We are grateful for the strong foundation built by Titus Regional Medical Center and are honored to build upon it while extending the healing mission of Jesus Christ.”
CHRISTUS Health brings the resources of a mission-driven, nationally recognized health system while honoring the local relationships and community pride that define Titus Regional.
“For generations, the Northeast Texas community has trusted this hospital for compassionate, high-quality care. That trust doesn’t change today. It’s our foundation, and we are confident CHRISTUS will thoughtfully carry that legacy forward,” said Don Lowry, chairman, Titus County Hospital District Board of Managers.
CHRISTUS Health is committed to investing in technologies, resources and clinical programs that enhance patient access and outcomes, while maintaining the strong community-focused care residents trust. This commitment is reflected in Titus Regional Medical Center joining CHRISTUS Health, following the recent opening of the CHRISTUS Health Mount Pleasant Emergency Care Center, which also includes a multi-specialty clinic offering cardiology, electrophysiology, gastroenterology, physical therapy, primary care, pulmonology and urology services.
