Massage therapy is an age-old art offering a multitude of health benefits, which include enhancing the function of joints and muscles, improving circulation and general body tone, and relieving mental and physical fatigue.
Therapeutic massage increases the blood supply and nutrition to muscles without adding to their load of toxic lactic acid, produced through voluntary muscle contraction. Therapeutic massage has a tranquilizing effect on the central nervous system.
