Cancer Services
Outpatient Infusion Therapy
The Cancer Center’s infusion therapy program provides short- and long-term infusion therapy to patients in a convenient comfortable setting. The center is designed to provide therapy to patients who may not require hospitalization, who may not be receiving home care because of insurance constraints or simply may prefer the ease and convenience of clinical appointments.
Patients are followed and monitored by a clinical team of Registered Nurses, a Certified Oncology Nurse and an Oncologist. The Cancer Center can also facilitate chemotherapy and prescribed treatments from other facilities, an ideal arrangement for those patients who do not want to drive long distances for their infusion therapy treatments.
Located on the campus of CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi – Shoreline, the cancer center houses:
- Outpatient Radiation Therapy Center
- Outpatient infusion therapy
- Breast Care Program with education and support group program
- Breast Cancer Patient Navigator Program
- Physician offices
- Library/resource center
- Chapel
- Healing Garden (opening Spring 2010)
