CHRISTUS Spohn Community Benefits Report 2007
Providing Health Care for All
Each day, CHRISTUS Spohn provides approximately $145, 205 in charity care and more than $11 million in community services. We provided this care to thousands of South Texans who did not have the resources to pay for health care and who met the federal poverty guidelines used to determine eligibility for charity care. It was our duty and our privilege to care for these individuals – our friends, neighbors and relatives.
